STKValues Newsletter: Ghost Items

Hey @everyone! Because this it the first newsletter being posted I am going to tag all of you to let you know about it. All future newsletters will ping the Event Notifications role (or no ping at all, OR a @Newsletter role which you could opt into next time around. Not sure yet.) which you can opt into via our #📌┃roles channel. Hopefully we get more of you on board with this whole thing because we see it as a very exciting opportunity to get you guys more involved with the list, and build a sense of community here. If you are super into trading then I hope you will take the time to read through each newsletter as we will be giving helpful trading tips, featuring some of our favorite items, and giving you some insight on the inner workings of the list.

Today's Topic

Today's topic comes from the co-owner of the list, @Statics#0001. Over the past few days Statics has been working on building a list of what he calls "Ghost Items". Essentially what this means is that an item is never getting requested in #📥┃value-requests or it is very rarely being traded at all. They exist, but we never see them. Hence the "Ghost" term. Some of these items are not being traded simply because they lack demand. The rest of them, we're not so sure about. Some ghost items include things like Corrupt Cupid 2021, Gilded Hearts 2021, most code knives, and a lot of lower valued items like shop killers and shop knives.

Today's Featured Item

Today I am going to be featuring one of MY personal favorites, Over the Rainbow 2020. This knife was released during the St. Patrick's Day event in 2020 at a price of 7,777 coins. Today it is speculated to be one of the rarest items in the game. This rarity makes it a really awesome knife to own. If you've got one, you're definitely lucky!
